I campaign on five points:
1. Focusing on continued maintenance of superior village services with minimal taxes. As chair of the Fire Committee and member of the Laws, Police, and Utilities Committees I am responsible to assure that residents receive the best level of service, at reasonable cost, insuring safety for both the residents and the fire fighters who put themselves in harm's way: a responsibility that I take very seriously.
2. Monitoring the commercial development of our neighboring communities and how that growth affects Glendale. Although we have permanent natural buffers on two borders: the green zone to the south and Oak Hill Cemetery to the north; and non-permanent buffers: The Glenview Golf Club to the west and Landmark Baptist Temple property to the east; the issues of safety and traffic generated by development beyond our village borders effects our community. Current concerns include Sharonville's "Northern Lights" initiative to bring hotel, retail and entertainment developments along the Chester Road corridor paralleling Interstate 75 north of Sharon, the potential for development by Evendale on our eastern border and Woodlawn along the Glendale Milford corridor, as well as continued development of the Tri-county shopping area. Development that will have positive effects for our community is the 'cutting edge' full time fire house Sharonville built at our northern border at Kemper & Chester Roads and the 'best use development' On the Landmark property along our eastern border of a gated senior living and care facility.
3. Preserving historical landmarks that, in part, define Glendale culture,
4. Maintaining the familial 'village milieu' within the convenience of metropolitan Greater Cincinnati, and
5. Fostering a collegial council environment that encourages open dialogue and greater resident participation.

I represent the village's interests by attending and participating in:
1. Village of Glendale Council and committee meetings,
2. Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission,
3. Planning Partnership,
4. First Suburbs,
5. Glendale Chamber of Commerce,
6. Hamilton County Municipal League,
7. Hamilton County Watershed.

As councilwoman, I respect resident concerns, emphasize fiscal responsibility, and encourage resident participation in determining Glendale's future. I apply my strong sense of ethics and common sense when making decisions, public and private.
