Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

Served 4 terms on Council. Have served on every Council Committee. Assisted in successful operation of a small business 20 yrs. Certificates in OSHA, ADA, Workers Comp, Land Use Planning, Emergency Disaster PLanning and more. Volunteer in community 40 yrs.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)

Hiring an Economic Development Director will enable the City to attract types of Businesses to enhance our possibilities. This will allow us to expland out services, including safety services, while adding to our financial health. A win-win situation for everyone.

3. State three actions that you recommend to promote regional cooperation, and explain how you would implement each action? (150 word limit)

Dialogue - encourage more conversation between adjoining entities. Joint Ventures - ex. bid out projects together to receive savings for all involved. Economic Development - if your entity's not a fit for something, encourage business to look at neighboring entity for location which will benefit entire area.
