Candidate for
Council Member; City of Madeira

John Dobbs and his wife Barb have called Madeira home for 20 years. They have three children, two of which are Madeira High School graduates and one in seventh grade at Madeira Middle School. Dobbs is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts, Kenwood Baptist Church and International Friends (where John and Barb host international students from UC). He and his family attend Kenwood Baptist Church where he serves in the youth group ministry. Dobbs was on the Recreation and Parks Board before being elected to Council in 2003 and is a member of the Madeira Historical Society, Madeira Music Boosters and Madeira Athletic Boosters. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, photography and fly-fishing. John Dobbs is a local business owner and Vice President, Client Service where for over 20 years has helped build HSR Business to Business from a six person marketing firm into a 120 person full service integrated agency with offices in Cincinnati, Chicago and Denver.
