Anthony was part of NYC history when he entered NYC Fire department's first training class that accepted women firefighters. After passing the state's bar exam and after having worked in a law office while working in the Fire Department, Anthony left the Fire Department, accepting a position with a county prosecutor's office.

Anthony personally prosecuted and convicted numerous violent criminals, including child sex predators, drug dealers, domestic violence assaulters and drunk drivers.

As a prosecutor, Anthony did appellate work to sustain on appeal those criminal convictions obtained at trial. Anthony is currently a member of the Westchester County 18 B Appellate panel.

Anthony was the lead attorney in a landmark case before the Court of Appeals, the state's highest court, that limited the power of the State to criminalize speech on First Amendment grounds. Anthony was also the successful lead counsel in an international arbitration taken against the International Olympic Committee.

Anthony is a sole practitioner. He is married to his lovely wife Debra and has two beautiful children, Margaret and Carolyn. Margaret attends college. Carolyn attends Hendrick Hudson.
