Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Frank B. Clark

Candidate for
Director; Oakdale Irrigation District; Division 1

This information is provided by the candidate

During my six years on the Oakdale Irrigation District's Board of Directors: Water charges lowered 30%, all long term debt eliminated, Cash reserves of over $ 30 million dollars established, income from hydro-power renegotiated and income increased from $ 2 million to over $ 20 million, Funded over $ 18 million dollars in repairs, developed a water resource plan to take the District into the 21 century, this plan will create an additional 50,000 acre feet of water for new agriculture annexations and set aside 25 thousand acre feet for the city of Oakdale's future use. My 40 years of business and management experience has been put to good use at OID.

I have been an outspoken critic concerning any plans to transfer our water to the Bay Area. I will continue to oppose such ideas.
