Dear Neighbor:

This November I will be running for re-election to the San Mateo City Council. It has been my honor to serve you and your neighbors at City Hall since 1999.

Together, we have accomplished many things to improve the quality of life for residents and the economic climate for business in the City of San Mateo.

Some highlights include:

  • Our wonderful new energy efficient public library.
  • Downtown San Mateo continues to thrive economically and attract new businesses.
  • Our much-needed new police station is under construction.
  • New affordable senior and family housing has been constructed.
  • The City's budget is improving and programs are expanding.

There are still many challenges that we need to address. I believe it is critical to elect experienced community leaders with common sense to the City Council, and I hope you will consider supporting me for another term.

With your support, we can continue to develop solutions that will enable our city and community to continue to be the best place to live, work, raise a family, and retire.

Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions, please contact me at (650) 888-5081 or jjl001@aol.com.

Sincerely, Councilman John Lee
