One of the most important tasks of the Board is working with the community to ensure funding through items such as the successful Measure A passed in 2006.
With wonderful leadership by the community, Measure A passed in 2006. This was vital for filling in our budget, already strained by difficult cuts. In 2003 I anticipated this problem with my views in Winning the Parcel Tax - Again - With Community Involvement .
