Experience, enthusiasm and the right priorities for Hartnell
I bring to the Hartnell Board of Trustees a unique and diverse blend of experience in classroom education, financial management and public affairs which will serve the community well at this crucial time. My business and communications experience will enable me to lead Hartnell college to set and meet budget goals, keep lines of communication open with all members of the college community and facilitate the important changes needed to ensure a quality college education. I have the experience to make decisions on a wide range of issues, such as hiring and evaluating a new President, meeting student needs, setting goals, long range planning, developing curriculum, establishing budgets and developing community relations programs. My business perspective will be utilized to actively seek more partnerships within the community to ensure jobs for our graduates and strengthening our local workforce. I promise to be accessible to all members of the community while working to bring about much needed changes to our local college. Our diverse community is not just a tremendous resource for our college but is the essence of Hartnell college. I will unite and bring open communication among the Hartnell Board of Trustees, faculty, staff and community.
