Kevin has been actively involved in agriculture for more than 17 years. His agricultural experiences have taken him to many different locations throughout the country and abroad.

As the Northern District Agronomic Crop Advisor for Reiter Affiliated Companies, Kevin works with growers to increase commercial productivity, yield, and quality of fresh-market strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry fruit.

Kevin is a 2001 graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Crop Science. He went on to complete his Masters of Science degree in General Agriculture, with a specialization in Postharvest Agriculture, from Cal Poly in 2004.

As an active member of his community of Prunedale, where he was raised, Kevin serves as a member of the Echo Valley Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association where his daughter Cassady is recently completed 1st grade. Kevin also sits on the Board of Directors for the Prunedale Mutual Water Company and is a trustee for the North Monterey County Unified School District. Kevin is a member of the Produce Marketing Association, the International Society of Horticultural Scientists, the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo Alumni Association, the Institute of Food Technologists, and the Salinas Jaycees. Kevin is also fluent in Spanish and is working on learning Japanese and Mandarin. He is also a graduate of Leadership Salinas Valley Class XXIII.

When not working or participating in community and/or industry activities, Kevin enjoys spending time with his seven-year-old daughter Cassady and his loving wife Heather.
