The District is at a critical juncture in its Asset Management Plan. The Board needs to do everything it can to maximize assets in a thoughtful, open manner. We cannot allow this opportunity to pass. We owe it to our students to build facilities at Mira Costa and pay down our debt.

We must focus on supporting award winning Mira Costa High School to ensure that it has the facilities it needs, the best practices in curriculum, and the support for students and teachers that is so vital at the High School level

My top issues:

Continue to seek new revenue sources for MBUSD. Maintain and upgrade our facilities. Focus resources on Mira Costa High School. Enrich science education K-12. Reduce expenses related to debt management. Continue to build District leadership.
