Measure G. Bonds -- Wasco Union High School District (2/3 Approval Required)

To improve the quality of education, renovate classrooms and school facilities including upgrading and replacing plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, build new classrooms and facilities to relieve overcrowding, repair roofs, modernize the auditorium, make health and safety improvements, improve student access to computers and modern technology, and qualify the District for $12,200,000 in State-matching grants, shall Wasco Union High School District issue $45,000,000.00 of bonds at legal interest rates, and no money for teacher or administrative salaries? Para mejorar la calidad de educación, renovar los salones de clase y los establecimientos escolares incluyendo actualizar y reemplazar los sistemas de plomería, eléctricos, calefacción y aire acondicionado, construir salones de clase y establecimientos nuevos para aliviar el atestamiento, reparar los techos, modernizar el auditorio, hacer mejoras en la salud y seguridad, mejorar el acceso estudiantil a las computadoras y a la tecnología moderna, y calificar al Distrito para $12,200,000 en subvenciones igualadas por el Estado, ¿deberá el Distrito Escolar Preparatoria Unión de Wasco emitir $45,000,000.00 de bonos a tasas de interés legales, y nada de dinero para los salarios de los maestros o administradores?

To improve the quality of education, renovate and upgrade existing schools including roof repairs, science labs, libraries, and energy efficient windows, make health and safety improvements including removing asbestos; update electrical systems to improve access to computers and technology; improve playgrounds and playfields, and qualify the District for approximately $1,200,000 in State grants, shall Muroc Joint Unified School District issue $14,800,000 of bonds at legal interest rates, with independent oversight, and no money for teacher or administrative salaries? Para mejorar la calidad de educación, renovar y actualizar las escuelas existentes incluyendo reparaciones de los techos, los laboratorios de ciencias, las bibliotecas, y las ventanas de energía eficiente, hacer mejoras en la salud y seguridad incluyendo retirar el asbesto; actualizar los sistemas eléctricos para mejorar el acceso a las computadoras y a la tecnología; mejorar los campos de recreo y los campos para jugar, y calificar al Distrito para aproximadamente $1,200,000 en subvenciones Estatales, ¿deberá el Distrito Escolar Unificado Colectivo de Muroc emitir $14,800,000 de bonos a tasas de interés legales, con supervisión independiente, y nada de dinero para los salarios de los maestros o administradores?

Shall there be enacted in the City of Delano a temporary sales tax rate increase of one percent (1%) which will end after ten (10) years, the proceeds of which shall be used for essential general services including, but not limited to police and fire services, street improvements, parks and recreation, and other General Fund services? ¿Deberá ser establecida en la Ciudad de Delano un aumento provisional de la tasa de impuesto sobre las ventas de un por ciento (1%) que terminará después de diez (10) años, de las cuales las ganancias serán usadas para los servicios generales esenciales incluyendo, pero no limitado a los servicios policiacos y de contra incendios, mejoras de las calles, los parques y el recreo, y otros servicios del Fondo General?

Measure W. Antelope Valley Quality Education Facilities Measure -- Antelope Valley High School District (School Bond - 55% Approval Required)

To relieve severe school overcrowding, build two new high schools, upgrade facilities at existing high schools, and acquire, repair, construct and equip classrooms, labs, schools, sites and facilities, shall the Antelope Valley Joint Union High School District issue $240 million in bonds at legal interest rates and appoint a Citizens’ Oversight Committee to ensure that bond monies are used for voter-approved purposes only and that no monies are used for administrator salaries?
