REMINDER: THE 2008 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY, FEBRUARY 5TH New Yorkers will go to the polls for the 2008 presidential primary on February 5th. You must belong to a political party in order to vote in the primary, and you will vote only for the candidates in the primary of the party to which you belong. If you wish to join a party or change your party affiliation for the February primary, you must file a New York State voter registration form postmarked or submitted in person by October 12th , 2007. The change will take effect in the week after the 2007 General Election on November 6th.
