EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

As your Councilman, I will continue serving Arlington with the same commitment I have brought to the Ward as a 16-year local business-owner and 4-year City Planning Commissioner. I will work to enhance security for our neighborhoods; promote small business development; strengthen communities through neighborhood programs and beautification while promoting heritage and pride for Ward 5.

This job is a continuation of my proven commitment to this Ward and our great city. I have worked on city and community-based initiatives in Arlington for over 10 years. I serve on the Police Chief’s Advisory Board and served as two-term president of the Arlington Business Improvement District. I have been instrumental in facilitating the Arlington Library expansion, Chili Cook-off, Christmas Tree Lighting in Arlington Park, and painting and beautification projects in Arlington.

My candidacy isn’t about a hobby or last-minute decision. I issued a contract that spells out my promise and vision for the Ward. I will continue to work on resurfacing streets and sidewalks, strengthening police, improving traffic flow, and reducing noise and graffiti.
