Smart Voter Political Philosophy for William R. "Bill" Wasch

Candidate for
Commissioner; Township of Tinicum; Ward 5; Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate

William R. Wasch

As a Township Commissioner in the last few years, I am proud of the following accomplishments

  • Implemented the earned income tax to bring those who work in the township into our tax base, this allowed us to virtually eliminate the sewer tax on residents saving the average family about $300 per year.

  • Found the funding to save the historic Lazaretto for Tinicum and the rest of the Nation.

  • Construction of the new firehouse emergency center soon to be completed as part of our plan to ensure that the proper resources, training, and equipment are available for our first responders.

  • Initiatives in pubic safety like hiring additional police officers; passing restriction on where sexual offenders can reside so our children will be safe, and implementing a speed-monitoring system to enforce safe driving.
