Smart Voter Political Philosophy for David Levy

Candidate for
Member, Board of Education; Eastchester Union Free School District

This information is provided by the candidate

TOP 3 PRIORITIES (4)

1. BOARD MEETINGS: To make BOE meetings more town friendly so key issues can be brought to light and discussed in plain English. This way everyone will know what's going on in the district.

2. TECHNOLOGY FOR ALL: To make sure all students have access to the technology the district has purchased over the past several years, and that all levels of students are actively using this technology.

3. INTELLIGENT SPENDING: With a new Superintendent and new BOE members, I want to see District money is used to enhance the District instead of dollars being used to fight community challenges. Also, legal fees should are to be used to increase revenue for the district (i.e. fighting major tax certiorari and to favorably settling legal disputes on contracted work.)

4. RESOLVE SPACE ISSUES: We need to clear up and reconfigure to make better use of the space we have in the district while we all work together to solve the larger space issue.
