Harvesting The Available Skilled Resources

By Gregory "Greg" Alexander

Candidate for Council Member; City of Compton; District 1

This information is provided by the candidate
Through inventoring the available Qualified Skilled Resources in the city; it's possible for many construction and development projects to move quicker; with "inhouse" qualifed craftmen. It's very important to create employment opportunities that would help to relieve the pressure of surviving in a very unique diverse community like Compton.
In order to be effective and absolute with a desired "Master Plan", I believe it is neccessary to resume the concept strategy of our fore-founders. Using wisdom like their;when deciding to erect their first structure for this city; with the thought it would serve as a vital infrastructure for all concerned.

This Structure was a "Schoolhouse" which allowed them the opportunity to educate themselves, as well as, their children.

Our schools are in dire need for a "new birth". Our children should not be permitted to recieve a lesser education than any other child in the State of California.

The founders also used this facility (the Schoolhouse) as an assembly for community worship. This collaborative effort reate an inner-twinding cord that strengthened the community. People of Compton, we should take heed of our fore-founders motives, because they were able to raise a government on the shoulders of faith!

This concept of working together to develop and construct what we have the commissio (the Right; the Responsibility; and the Power!) to further immortalize for the betterment of our children's future and those other chartering to this great city; A community each and everyone of us as residence would be proud to call home!
