I have lived in Covina since 1989 when I got engaged to my Wife Marie. We have one son, age 16 who attends Covina High School and is on the JV Basketball Team.

During the 1980's I served in the United States Army, stationed in Bamberg, Germany. After getting out of the military I went to work as an accountant and obtained my CPA license.

I started a CPA accounting and tax practice in Covina in the 1990's. In addition to operating my own practice I teach part-time at Mt. San Antonio College providing instruction on Financial, Managerial and Payroll Accounting.

From 1999 to 2003 I served on the Covina City Council and served as Mayor Pro Tem. During my time on council I was a representative on the Los Angeles County Sanitation Board, Foothill Transit Board, and several Housing Authorities.

Believing civic work is important I joined the Covina Breakfast Lions Club where I served as their secretary. Because of a change in schedule I transferred to the Covina Kiwanis Club where I served as President and currently as Past President and Treasurer.

In additon to service clubs I am a founding member of the Covina Community Foundation, serve on the Finance Council for Sacred Heart Church, serve as an usher for Sacred Heart Church and have adopted a portion of the westbound 10 Freeway at Vincent Ave. to keep our community clean.
