Oscar Mendoza is co-founder of his family's business Twins Roofing, Inc which he and his stepfather established in 1992 in Sylmar. Twins Roofing currently operates statewide and has recently expanded into Nevada. In 2003, at the age of 29 Oscar received the prestigious 40 under 40 award form the San Fernando Valley Business Journal.

Oscar graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2001. He also holds an Associate of Arts degree from Los Angeles Mission College and is a graduate of San Fernando High School, class of '92.

Mr. Mendoza serves on the board of directors of the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley and Valley VOTE. Oscar also was a member of the Sylmar Chamber of Commerce. Oscar interned to a former State Assemblyman, and has been active in many local campaigns.

Oscar Mendoza is known and respected as a high achiever by his family, friends, and working associates. Throughout his life he has worked in a postive and tireless manner to improve the quality of life for his family and for his community. The eldest of six children, his younger siblings see him as a positve role model. Born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, Oscar's family emigrated to The San Fernando Valley when he was less than one year old. His family wholeheartedly supports his vision for the future.
