I believe in "Participatory Management" and that everyone should be invited to the decision-making table. The people in a neighborhood know the issues that affect that neighborhood better than anyone else. I believe that an elected official should listen to them and work with them in order to reach solutions that meet everyone's needs and expectations. I believe that an elected official should also be accessible to the community. I would like to have monthly town hall meetings so that I can hear from community members and know what issues are important to them. I think we need more transparency in our local government and by having monthly town hall meetings, people can see where progress is being made and where money is being spent.
