Leadership is one of those things we do as volunteers without realizing we've done it. Working to help people improve their lives and community can be difficult at times but is always rewarding. I know I've accomplished many positive things and will continue to help people regardless of the March election.

Whether and how a 710 Freeway Extension should be constructed is of major concern to all of us living in the Foothill communities. Proponents in Alhambra and Monterey Park claim that the Extension will:
1) facilitate growth and development,
2) generate sales tax revenue,
3) relieve traffic congestion, and
4) reduce smog.
