BALLOT STATEMENT Born and raised in the Southland I have chosen to make Redondo Beach my home since 1984. Together with my wife Debra we have raised 3 children. Retired as an Engineer I have taught in the Redondo Beach School District for the last 6 years.

For 10 years I have served on the AYSO Region 17 Board and am presently the Treasurer. I am a member of the Measure E Bond Oversight Committee as well as a PTSA Board Member and local Boy Scout Troop Leader. Previously I served as President of the Redondo Beach Jaycees. For over 20 years I have volunteered in community organizations and have demonstrated both my leadership abilities and my commitment to making Redondo Beach a better place to live.

Having served on 4 different Commissions for the City of Redondo Beach, I presently serve on the Planning Commission. This has given me the experience necessary to be an effective representative, as well as an understanding of the issues that face our Community. As I have in the past, I will continue to educate myself on the issues and balance all viewpoints before making decisions that decide the future of Redondo Beach. I ask for your support in being elected Councilmember District 5. ...................................................................................................................
