Among my growing list of priorities are:

  • Actively encourage partnerships among city, schools, library, colleges, non-profits, and the police to serve our youth, seniors, and families
  • Work to effectively manage and reduce traffic congestion and make Claremont a more pedestrian and bike friendly city
  • Increase the number of play and practice fields for youth sports
  • Support and develop our business community in all parts of the City
  • Promote a courteous, cooperative council and an accountable city government
  • Support an effective and responsive police department
  • Encourage diverse housing and work opportunities
  • Make Sustainability the lens through which all of our city decisions are made.
  • Protect and enhance our trees, parks, and open spaces
  • Protect and control our water and natural resources
  • Implement long term planning for stable financing and major community improvements
