This information is provided by the candidate
Daniel Cota

I was born and raised in Cudahy since 1977. I attended Cudahy local school and graduated from Bell High in School 1995. After being employed by the City of Cudahy in 1995, I decided to attend junior college and graduated from California State University Los Angeles in 2001 with a bachelor degree and a multiple subject teaching credential. I am currently working toward a special education credential and a master's degree in education from Dominquez Hills University where I look forward to continuing working with children who have specific learning and mental/physical disabilities. In my years as a Cudahy resident, I have volunteered as a coach for youth sports and as president of CCAE, a non-profit organization serving the needs of adult students learning English and other skills within our community. These experiences have created a vision to bring more educational opportunities to the youth and hard working immigrants of Cudahy who serve as the future of our city. I am a hard working and passionate individual looking for the chance to help the people around me. I believe that the residents of Cudahy deserve honest and dedicated representatives that can create a city that stands above the rest.
