Reduce tax burden on residents. Responsible approach to debt., including community input and strict adherence to established review process. Enhance zoning code to protect Village character and quality of life.

Insuring that the local residents and merchants are protected from a redesigned Stop & Shop and minimizing its impact upon the already congested gateway region while satisfying the needs of the community at large.

Issues: 145 Palisade St. redevelopment, the Gateway, Chauncey section. In dealing with these, will seek variety of input and opinions, utilize staff planning tools/experience to make the best decisions for all residents.

The most important issue is land use, which impacts development, taxes, traffic, open space and quality of life. I will approach each challenge individually, geographically and financially with balance and responsibility.

Preserving Dobbs Ferry's character in today's high pressure development environment is the Village's greatest challenge. The land use codes and rules must be revised and applied to prevent oversized development.

In Dobbs Ferry, we have reached the saturation point of development. Either we keep the feel and friendliness of our own community, or we develop and lose what we love.
