Questions & Answers

1. What are the three major issues you would address immediately if elected?

Property and school tax relief, comprehensive energy policy including conservation and renewable sources and quality of life initiatives such as health care reform, open space preservation and clean air/water initiatives.

2. What is your opinion regarding the formation of an independent redistricting commission?

I absolutely support an independent redistricting commission to restore public's confidence in legislative process. I also endorse other reform measures to clean up Albany's mess such as campaign finance reform.

3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?

I'm a five-term County Legislator who's demonstrated fiscal responsibility as Budget Chair and achieved environmental accomplishments as Environment Committee Chair. My experience and independence is needed to change Albany now!
