There needs to be better communication between the council and the public. Making people aware of the actions of the council and making information easier to obtain and readily available are two ways to do this. The more citizens involved the better our city becomes. It is in my opinion that it is just as much of the leaders' responsibility to bring the public into the process as it is the public's to be actively involved. I will provide the leadership that makes individuals what to be involved. It is important for everybody that lives in our city to be invested in its success and future to some degree. This is where the council comes in. It is the job of the council to create interest and make it easier for people to participate in our local government. |
