Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Dan Warren

Candidate for
United States Representative; District 4

This information is provided by the candidate

I follow the basic Libertarian philosophies. Some of the biggest issues and one of the reasons I am running for Congress is that our government is run with the power in the wrong areas. I do belive that the Government that governs the least governs the best and that should start with the Federal Government. The Federal Government should be the smallest portion of our Government with the least amount of control and taking the fewest taxes. Remember Katrina? FEMA? Slow to respond, waistfull, corrupt, unknowing what the local needs are. As the Federal Government gets larger it will only get worse.

It is estimated that up to two thirds of the taxes that the Federal Goverment takes from its citizens never makes is back to the districts that the money came from. Where does that money go? We, as Americans, should be asking this more often. Why do we have over 300 military bases in foreign countries? Why do we give Israel 3 billion dollars in subsidies every year? Why do we give Oil companies over 5 billion dollars in subsidies every year? Why? Because these and other subsidy recpients are also the largest campaign contributors. If you don't find a problem with this keep voting for the Democrats and Republicans.

The Federal Goverment Taxes almost every portion of our lifes including several various taxes on our phone bills. Yes, you get taxed to talk in our country. This is not right and Americans have thrown tea into a harbor for less. You can learn more by logging onto my web site at http://www.warrenforcongress.us . I encourage you to stop wasting your vote and send a message for a change.
