Lyn Shaw will be a champion for the safety of our neighborhoods. She will fight to insure taxpayer dollars are wisely spent without leaving the bill to our children. A champion for public safety, Lyn Shaw is committed to providing law enforcement and first responders with the resources they need to protect our communities.

We need an advocate who will fight for us in Sacramento. As our next representative in the State Assembly, Lyn shaw is committed to ensuring the availability of quality educational opportunities, including vocational counseling, job training and apprentice programs. She is dedicated to securing funding to imporve our transportation infrastructure; attracting quality jobs with good benefits; and expanding access to quality healthcare and childcare for our community.

Dedicated to Service.

For the past 13 years, Lyn Shaw has worked for Tierra del Sol, a non-profit organization that works with men and women with developmental disabilities to enable them to realize their full potential and establish a contributing role in society.

Watching families struggle to get services and assistance for the disabled children, Lyn has come to realize that every bill and every vote in the California State Legislature affects the quality of our lives. Lyn Shaw has pledged to fight for us in Sacramento, to ensure that we are never forgotten by those we have elected to represent us.

With 30 years experience in a distinguished career of service to our communities, Lyn Shaw has led the fight for our children, our neighborhoods and our schools. Lyn has worked with the California Nurses Association to establish the Patient's Bill of Rights and has been at the forefront of the fight to protect a woman's right to choose.

As a trusted leader within the Democratic Party, Lyn worked on the National Platform Committee for the 2004 Democratic National Convention, is a member of the Executive Board of the California Democratic Party and is a past Vice Chair of the Los Angeles County Central Committee.

Community Advocate.

Lyn Shaw has never failed to volunteer her expertise and time to a wide variety of Democratic causes. She is a dedicated community leader with a simple goal: to utilize her experience and tireless energy to improve the quality of life for all of us.

As a long-time community advocate, Lyn Shaw is the only candidate for Assembly that can hit the ground running and continue to move us forward. She understands the needs of our neighborhoods. As our next Assemblymember, Lyn Shaw will be our champion in Sacramento.
