Member of the State Assembly; District 56

I am running for the State Assembly because I want to make the American Dream a reality for people in our communities.

I came to this country over 35 years ago when my family escaped the communist occupation in China after the war. I immigrated to America because I wanted the opportunity to strive toward the American Dream.

Through many years of hard work, I built a successful business from scratch, creating over 200 jobs and realizing the American Dream. Now, I believe this experience will enable me to solve Sacramento's budget problems; lower taxes and bring sensible "live within your means" attitude to the Capitol.

To assure a better future, we must provide the best education possible for our children and grandchildren. They must be encouraged to excel and achieve. I will hold school districts accountable and responsible for academic achievement and fiscal management.

As twice-elected Cerritos City Council member and former Mayor, I belive my experience in local government and business provides first hand knowledge of what needs to be done to make our communities an even better place.

I am committed to making our communities and state a better place to live, raise a family and to do business.
