National Economic and Energy Security Initiative

By Steven "Steve" Haze

Candidate for United States Representative; District 21

This information is provided by the candidate
This initiative understands that a a strong domestic economy and a diversified and independent energy program are essential to the overall National Security of the United States
The US must immediately engage in a re-tooling of the domestic economy in order to remain competitive in the global marketplace. Much of the cost for producing products is through the massive and inefficient use of energy. The US must minimize its risks within the energy sector by diversifying away from traditional energy resources to other energy sources such as solar, wind power, clean coal, syn/bio-fuels, "clean" nuclear power and energy efficiency technologies. The United States must create incentives for capital investments in manufacturing, energy resources and energy efficiency technologies to occur domestically in order to develop a vertically integrated, diverse and sustainable domestic economy.
