Raised in San Mateo County, I have lived in South San Francisco for over 23 years. I have a strong belief in public service and of being a part of one's community. I have over 25 years working in the non-profit sector. As the current Executive Director in a local non-profit I bring my years of experience in budgeting, executive management and organizational development to the County Board.

During my tenure on the Board I participated on the Court and Community Schools Blue Ribbon Task Force, whose recommnedations were implemented and have resulted in a significant reduction in our deficit while serving more students than ever before.

I have served on the Strategic Planning sub-committee and charired the committee charged to appoint a new Superintendent of Schools, when the position became vacant.

I am a member of the South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Education Committee and have participated in the South San Francisco Unified School District's Positive Attendance Campaign.
