TRUSTEES MAKE POLICY-SET FUTURE VISIONS--NOT MICROMANAGE

CUESTA COLLEGE has one and only one mission. The education of the individual in the classroom. The activity in the classroom is the focus. All decision making must keep that goal as the operative modus operandi.

My candidacy is devoted to that end. This office is not a stepping stone to the next higher political office. I will not leave in the middle of my term to seek higher lucarative pastures for personal glory?

Students, Faculty, and Administrator are the backbone of the functioning of this great Community College, CUESTA COLLEGE. My efforts will be to make sure the decision making keeps that in mind at all times. The Superintendent/President is as much a student as any enrolee in the class. We all work for the students who in turn give to society that will elect this candidate.

My background of extensive participation as INSTRUCTOR, POLICY ADVISOR, ADMINISTRATOR OF POLICIES, EVALUATION OF PROGRAMS, HANDS ON SOLVING PROBLEMS, FISCAL ISSUES IN THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE setting assures the best for the future of CUESTA COLLEGE.

The Trustee position is precisely what the term "TRUSTEE" demands. A Trustee on an individual basis makes no official or unofficial statements about the governance of CUESTA College.

All five Trustees function as a unit, albeit with independent critical thought process of all issues, after getting the best & upto date data.

Please be assured BRAHAMA D. SHARMA will devote his full time to assure the highest ethical, moral and legal discharge of his responsibilities as TRUSTEE at all time.

Please also keep in mind I am a SCIENTIST and prone to objective judgement of issues, less on sentimental basis.
