Top priorities if elected

By Dante Cosentino

Candidate for Board Member; Ramona Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate
My top priorities are budget, communication and maintaining programs.
Basically the priorities I listed are those which I have worked on for the past four years (since I have been on the school board). The budget: We, as a school board, have maintained financial stability despite decreased state funding. I intend to continue insuring that our financial health is sound. Communication: I will continue to focus on keeping lines of communication open with the community. I will, as in the past, do this through contacts with parent and teacher associations. Programs: Maintaining programs such as foreign language, art, music, etc. are important and we must find ways to keep them active even in difficult financial times (as has been the case recently).
