Our most pressing task in the PVUSD to get more of our students passing the high school exit exam, as mandated by No Child Left Behind. All students will suffer if the State of California takes control of our schools.

We can do it, but it will require a coordinated community response along with some strong "management by the numbers" data crunching and analysis. It also requires a consensus builder with business skills and academic preparation.

I have strong support from people and organizations because I have successfully managed both business and community programs in Santa Cruz and Silicon Valley for over 15 years.
