West Valley/Mission Community College District is one of Silicon Valley's most valuable assets.In addition to providing a sensible and affordable opportunity for the first 2 years of a 4-year college education, community colleges are the backbone of our community. They train a good portion of our healthcare and childcare providers, firemen and policemen, restaurant and hotel management, and the service personnel who enhance all of our lives. They work in partnership with major employers to train and retrain, both on our college campuses and at on-site campuses maintained by employers. The colleges are committed to providing a major technological infrastructure available to all disciplines. Truly, there would be no Silicon Valley as we know it today without these institutions providing people with the training to make it all work. All of this requires a very competent, fair, logical and unbiased group of citizens on the Governing Board. David Montagna is just such a citizen. Please cast your vote for David Montagna! |
