Every person has the right to higher education. As a resident of the Inland Empire for over 21 years, I have spent much of my adult life promoting this belief and dedicating myself to this community. I own two businesses in Riverside and am a member of the Chambers of Commerce and over a dozen boards, committees and community organizations, which has given me practical leadership experience. The college district is experiencing tremendous growth. At this time, the focus of the trustees should be: continuing the development of the Health Sciences curriculum at the Moreno Valley Campus, the expansion of the Engineering and Technology center at the Corona Norco Campus, and opening the School for the Arts in Downtown Riverside which will provide an innovative curriculum and bolster the economic revitalization of the city. As a father of a 12-year-old attending RUSD schools, I look at what his opportunities will be when he graduates from high school. I am committed to helping every young adult have choices in education. My dedication to the community and vision for this college district makes me an excellent choice for the RCC Board of Trustees. I ask for your vote on November 7th. |
