It takes working together to get the job done
In order to "get the job done" a councilmember must work well with others on the Council. It takes TWO Councilmembers to get an item on an agenda for a vote, it takes THREE votes to pass an item after it is on an agenda. Richard Stewart works well with others. ALL 4 other Councilmembers have endorsed Richard Stewart for City Council. His ability to "get the job done" is proven. he is EXPERIENCED at getting the job done. The council added more new police officers; additional fire stations; additional fire engines and more firefighters. It took the majority of the city council WORKING AS A TEAM to get these things done! The job is not finished yet. Richard is known as the master of "COMPROMISE" and often can get an action approved by the majority by adjusting it so as to bring others on board and so move it ahead to approval.
