My wife Michell and I chose Corona as our home in 1992, when we were expecting our first child. We now have five children, ranging in ages of 5 to 14, and we are active as volunteers in our community and schools. For the last several years, I have also coached youth baseball in Corona.

Currently, I serve on the Planning Commission for the City of Corona. Since being appointed to the Planning Commission, I have participated in various stages of many projects, including several components of the Dos Lagos and The Crossings developments, and a variety of commercial center sites. As an advisory member of the Corona Planning and Infrastructure Committee, I have participated in the process of defining several future projects as well.

I am a 25-year veteran of law enforcement and currently the Captain/Assistant Chief for the California State University Police Department in Long Beach. I have successfully served in municipal, county and state organizations, and in a wide variety of field and administrative capacities, and I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

I have designed, developed and supervised a number of specialized programs that create greater safety in our communities. As a facilitator-instructor of leadership and ethics courses, I have presented classes and lectures at the high school and collegiate levels, and in professional training seminars for law enforcement agencies throughout California as part of the Commission on Peace Officer's Standards and Training (POST). I have also taught in grades K through 12.

As a Police Officer, Planning Commissioner, and as a person who is raising his family in this city, I believe I have the insight and the experience necessary to serve as City Councilman.

I would be honored to have your vote in this important election for our City.
