Position Papers
More "We" Less "Us vs. Them"
The job of a City Councilman is to find consensus; to search for mutually agreeable solutions to our city's problems.
The Poseidon Desal Plant is Wrong for Huntington Beach
Clean beaches and clean oceans are absolutely essential both for our residents and for the tourists who generate much of our city's revenue. A clean and green city is vital to Huntington Beach's future success.
We Need New Ideas On Transportation
We need smart growth in Huntington Beach. That term encompasses both higher density development in some places, and preservation of open space and wetlands in other places. It also requires long term planning to bring a new level of technology to transportation so we don't strangle on our traffic.
