  • Occupation: Community Volunteer
  • Homemaker - Three children, two currently in the school district. Oldest son is a U.S. Marine serving in Iraq.
  • Licensed Cosmetologist- Goldenwest College, and other vocational courses in accounting and construction.
  • PTA member, Served on Primary Presidency board at church.
  • Long time resident attended schools K-12 in Huntington Beach City School District.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Provide parent point of view as the board reviews and adopts new policies. I want to be the voice for parents!
  • Improve the effectiveness of all schools. I believe schools, regardless of their economics should focus on the same standards and quality instruction.
  • Ensure all students acquire knowledge, skills and dispositions essential to their success as life long learners.
