Dear Friends,


As 17 year Brea residents, parents of four children, one still attending BJH, my wife Corinne and I have a vested interest in our educational system. With your support I will continue to provide exceptional educational opportunities for all Brea children.

Proven Leadership:

  • Maintained balanced budget during California's fiscal crisis.

  • Increased teacher's salaries to median of comparable school districts, creating competitive wages.

  • Maximized Bonds, adding $20,000,000.00 in State matching funds, developer fees and refinanced bonds.

  • Re-designed Brea Junior High to allow for first class facility for our childrens future.

  • Starting construction on new a classroom wing at BOHS.

  • Designed new elementary school with additional middle school capabilities, construction beginning in 2007.

  • Achieved highest API test scores in District history.

  • 95% of students passed the exit exam in their sophomore year.

    My experience has allowed me to maintain a balanced District budget, while advancing test scores and building for our children's future. I will continue to work with parents, teachers and community leaders to ensure BOUSD's readiness for our cities future growth while giving our children the tools to allow them exceed at all levels of the education process.
