I believe in the values of of our public education system: hard work, honesty, integrity, personal responsibility, and commitment to excellence. I will work to insure the highest quality public education for all students while adhering to our governing principles of fiscal responsibility.
We must support, maintain and improve important student based programs, such as Class Size Reduction and Elementary Music and Fine Arts.
There is well documented evidence and research that student based programs, such as Class Size Reduction and Elementary Music and Fine Arts, have a direct correlation with improving student learning and achievement and improving test scores.
We must build strong parent-teacher partnerships to promote the basics for the 21st century
Parents, teachers and the school board must work together to ensure a high quality education for our students, to help prepare them for the challenges of the future
