Having lived in Latin America, Italy, Belgium, Hungary, and all over the United States, I have respect for all people. My father was a Major General in the Air Force and a diplomat. Laguna Niguel was my home for almost 13 years; now I live in Dana Point. I believe in giving back to the community, and I have been a part -- locally -- of Assistance League, Beta Foster Care, Beverly Sills Guild of the Orange County Center for the Performing Arts, and I am now serving my 6th year on the Board of Catholic Charities in OC. Hospice Care and American Heart Association were other past areas of involvement. At present, I serve on the Advisory Board of John Paul the Great University in San Diego. I am a widow with two grown children -- one a schoolteacher -- and five grandchildren. As the former CEO of a software technology development firm, I worked with the Orange County Auto Dealers Association and auto dealers around the state. I am a business consultant and am currently involved, as a senior adviser, in the creation of a new technology business. I also remain a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity (for stage actors).
