As a Director of the Mendocino Coast District Hospital, and as the Chair of the Hospital Planning Committee, I have worked hard to help the Hospital through some difficult times.

We are making progress. The state of the Hospital is better now, organizationally, than it has been in recent years, and prospects for continued financial improvement look promising. An experienced Board of Directors is important to the ongoing effort and the continuation of improvements and growth of the Hospital.

I have served on the Hospital Board for the past three years. Additionally, in earlier years, I have had an extensive background in business and in corporate management, ranging from planning to production, from personnel matters to budgeting and the control of finances. That experience will be an asset to the ongoing job of the Hospital Board. My part of that job is not yet finished; it is my aim to help the Hospital to be the best it can be and to serve the community in its health-care needs.
