Endorsements and priorities
Currently, I am the Commander of the Northern Area Operations for the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office. I am seeking the office of Sheriff because I believe that we need to better prioritize our law enforcement efforts. The production, sales and use of methamphetamine is at an all time high. I promise, I will do everything in my power, under the law, to educate, curtail, and works towards the elimination of this killer drug. This will be one of my top priorities.

My education includes graduation from South Fork High School (Humboldt County) and an A.A. from Mendocino College. I have attended Butte Community College and Chico State University. I graduated from the State Fire Academy in 1980 and the Santa Rosa Community College Police Academy in 1982. I am a former EMT and I believe that Public Safety includes many facets besides law enforcement. Fire, Ambulance, law Enforcement, and Disaster Preparedness are all part of the many faceted Public Safety community.

I am very pleased to be endorsed by former Sheriff's Tony Craver and Jim Tuso.

"Tom Allman's integrity is defined by the ways he gives of himself to help others and treats everyone with dignity. Tom supports the concealed weapons program which I started 7 years ago," Tony Craver.

"Tom Allman is honest and straightforward a man as I have ever known. That's why I chose him to be a leader in the Sheriff's Office and you can too," Jim Tuso.

The next four years will prove to be a very vital time in Mendocino County. We must plan for the expected economic growth and continue the training and hiring of qualified deputies.

Your vote is greatly appreciated.
