How I Can Serve Alhambra

I am excited about serving the City of Alhambra as councilperson in the First District, and I will serve my constituency as a bridge builder to the diverse ethnic communities of Alhambra.

As a business owner and resident of the city, I have a unique perspective of the needs of both residents and small businesses in the city.

I will work hard to ensure smart growth development that enhances the city, but I am also aware of the importance of preserving Alhambra's small town charm and historical elements. Other top priorities include providing a safe and nurturing environment through the new state-of-the-art Alhambra Civic Center Library, protecting the safety and needs of our residents through the completion of the 710 freeway, and maintaining a strong climate for businesses and quality jobs.

I have committed myself to serving this community in the past several years, as seen in my leadership and participation in numerous service organizations, including the City of Alhambra Planning Commission; the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce (Executive Board Member); the West San Gabriel Valley YMCA (Board Member); and the Alhambra Historical Society (Trustee). I also served as Centennial Club President of Rotary Club of Alhambra in 2004-2005.
