Candidate for
Board Member; Fruitvale School District

I, Richard M. Traynor am a fiscal and social conservative. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fruitvale School District my role is to promote and set policies that will provide for a high quality education for all of the students of the District. My responsibitity is to work closely with my fellow board members so that the district provides the resources that allow our classroom teachers to develop the learning skills of our students. As the board works with the administration to, within the limits of our fiscal resources, provide; inspired teachers, an energetic supports staff, clean safe campuses, and books and other materials the Fruitvale School will continue in having high achievement. The Board must provide leadership and hold all stakeholders responsible for their roles in the student learning process. As board memebers we must provide everything that is needed so that administration , certificated and classified staff are left with no excusses in providing an atmosphere were the academic dreams and aspirations of our students are met.
