Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Blaine Geissel

Candidate for
Board Member; Rosedale Union School District

This information is provided by the candidate

Rosedale Union School District is less than half developed. We currently have nine schools and that will likely more than double before the district has been completely built out. I think we need to be fully prepared for growth. The media closely covers the activities of our district. We should use that more favorably to inform our school families that it is important to register as early as possible. I think people would come in early and we would not have such a large number of students showing up to register on the first day of school. We should also highlight more of the positive stories that happen daily in our district.

With growth comes the increased importance of being fiscally responsible. We need to keep a close eye on every dollar.

Making sure we are meeting the needs of our clientele is another important role of the board. I want to make sure we have a very high level of satisfaction. If there is a way we can make your education experience better, we should be trying. Studies have shown that one of the biggest factors in educational success is the relationship between the parent, child and teacher. I want to make the most of that relationship with open communication and continued hard work.
