Bill Wright for Your Kensington

By Bill Wright

Candidate for Director; Kensington Police Protection and Community Services District

This information is provided by the candidate
Community Orientation and Fiscal Experience
I am running for the KPPCSD board because I believe our town should have the type of government that existed when my wife and daughter and I moved here twelve years ago: an open progressive council that both informs and solicits input.

Most of your neighbors do not know who is on the current board and they do not know about the local issues under consideration. I want to change this and help make the board a true town council where well-considered decisions are made for our community by our community.

I will bring extensive finance experience to Kensington's fiscal affairs. For the past five years I have been the managing director of a firm that helps companies around the country navigate through the labyrinth of budgets, finance and confusing financial statements. Previously I served on the Citizen's Budget Review Committee for the City of Berkeley and while there established a job-creating economic development program.
