My Top Priorities are:

  • Establish Design Guidelines for our city that will maintain our small town atmosphere and govern future development. The recent survey in the Pleasant Hill Outlook was the first step in that process.

  • Support revenue-producing retail and quality low-density residential projects while preventing over-development.

  • Improve and expand our library while keeping it at its present location.

  • Improve the existing flood control system to minimize the effects of flooding along creeks and in low-lying neighborhoods.

  • Complete the Crossroads Shopping Center on Monument Boulevard (the former Wards center).

  • Oppose expansion plans for Buchanan Field Airport and support strictly enforced noise abatement policies.

  • Improve Police services and implement traffic- calming measures in our neighborhoods to increase safety.
